The family of LaToya Chikakayi who died in a car accident in Zimbabwe on 27 Dec 15 have launched a Go Fund Me appeal to raise money to repatriate her body to Massachussets, USA.

A family statement on Go Fund Me read; LaToya Rhoda was a 21 year old high spirited and very responsible young  girl with a bright future ahead of her.  She left Zimbabwe when she was 5 and returned 16 years later to recapture her memories with her family as well as put an amazing head stone on her Grandmother's grave who had died a few years back.  The ceremony was supposed to be held on the 9th of Jan but while spending time and creating memories with family coming from Victoria Falls she was involved in an accident and passed away on the 27th December.  Though born in Zimbabwe she has lived with her mother who is a single parent  and her  two sisters in Massachussets for over 16 years which she now calls home.  We are appealing to friends family and  well wishers to help bring her body home.  LaToya was an amazing young girl she touched the hearts of all she met and instilled a blessing of caring and just having a warm heart.  Your love and blessings in bringing her body home will be greatly appreciated.

Our hope is to bring LaToya home to Tewksbury for burial. Your thoughts, love and prayers is what we need right now as a family. LaToya was a special young lady, as it is shown by the out pouring love and support that you all have shown us. We will keep you all updated about the funeral arrangements. Our church fellowship will be holding a special church service dedicated to LaToya Chikakayi. Service will be held on Saturday January 2nd at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1048 Main St, Worcester at 630pm to 830pm.
